Torrid's Social Media Campaign

I created a social media campaign for Torrid. Torrid is a retail chain that Hot Topic owned until 2015, when they branched off and became Torrid, LLC. This retail store offers all clothing and accessories for sizes 10 to 30. To complete this campaign, I had to do some research. I looked back on Torrid’s social media accounts for the last six months. I completed an Audit, Target Audience Analysis, Campaign Strategies and Goals, and Content Creation.

This was my first attempt at creating a social media campaign, and it was a great experience. There were some challenges, as most projects entail, but how you overcome those challenges matters. As a plus-size woman, I chose this company because this store makes me feel confident with what they offer in clothing.

The first step to this social media campaign was to create an audit and look back on their social media accounts to look for patterns and what could be fixed. Then, I started to think of their target audience and what goals would suit Torrid’s clientele. The main goal was to increase engagement and tweak their posts to resonate with that audience. By creating SMART goals, Torrid will be able to achieve measurable goals.
