How to Make a Snowflake
This project was my first time recording with a voiceover. I created a how-to video with multiple camera angles. This idea came from watching my elementary school students create snowflakes out of paper. Finding the perfect angles took multiple takes and re-recording; however, I am very pleased with the final product.
My students from the 2022-2023 school year loved creating snowflakes during the winter months, so I decided to create a how-to video with a voice-over of creating a snowflake. The first step was figuring out which camera angles I needed to take and how to show each step.
After some trial and error, I found the perfect combination of camera angles and cuts. Since I was only working with two cameras but more camera angles, I had to take multiple shots and edit them together. The next step after filming and editing them together was recording the voice-over. With the right microphone, I could record clear audio of how to make a snowflake.
