Bookstore UX Project

This user experience project compared two bookstores: Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million. These two bookstores are very well known and get a lot of business. I took a deeper look by conducting a website analysis, creating personas, and creating a customer journey map.

I love to read, so this project was right up my alley since I shop at Barnes & Noble often and have been inside a Books-A-Million a handful of times. While conducting the website analysis, I focused on ‘FEEL’ and ‘NEED’ when analyzing these websites from the point of view of User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX).
